In May 1848, Mother Frances Xavier Warde arrived in Loretto, Pennsylvania, fulfilling her pledge to continue the mission of Mother Catherine McAuley and the Religious Sisters of Mercy. The Mount Aloysius Fund empowers our students and elevates their experience. These unrestricted funds provide flexibility to enhance academic programs, scholarships, and campus facilities, addressing immediate needs as they arise. Your contribution ensures The Mount and the students we serve can Grow Greater!
Scholarships
Scholarships reduce financial burdens on our students and their families. For our first-generation students, in particular, scholarships offer hope. 99% of all students rely on financial aid; your support empowers our Mounties to overcome challenges, pursue aspirations, and build a brighter future through education.
Mission, Ministry, and Service
Supporting Mission, Ministry, & Service at Mount Aloysius is an investment in shaping compassionate leaders who live our values of mercy, service, justice, and hospitality at the Mount...and beyond. Together, we can inspire the next generation of leaders to embody the Mercy legacy and make a lasting impact on our communities.
We are halfway to our goal and have met the President's Executive Council Challenge! Thanks to the generosity of Mount Aloysius senior leadership, this challenge unlocked $2,000 for our Growing Greater Day of Giving.
But the journey isn't over yet! Now, we stand before our final challenge: reaching 100 donors. Once we cross this finish line, Mount Aloysius' Board of Trustees will unite in their support, collectively contributing $5,000 to our cause.

Our second challenge for the day has been conquered! Thanks to the generous support from Mount Aloysius' Alumni Executive Board, we've secured $700 by reaching 25 donors.
Next on our agenda: rallying 50 donors for the day to fulfill our President's Executive Council Challenge!
We're thrilled to announce that we've successfully conquered our inaugural challenge – the Early Bird Challenge, generously unlocking $2,000 from an anonymous alumni donor!
